The lamps along the lane are lit, the lighthouse beam is just coming on, and a tall ship is sailing past in the last of a pink and orange sunset. Down at the gateposts the three dogs have spotted something out at sea and are watching it very closely, while the red pick-up waits by the cottage and a fire glows in the front window.
It's a cosy evening on the cliff top, with the waves crashing below and the Adirondack chairs left out for later. Will anyone be home in time to see the ship go by?
