Somebody has left a boot by the barn wall and two yellow labrador pups have found it. One sits up with the lace already in his mouth, pleased with himself; the other has flopped down on the straw beside it, nose right against the leather, working out whether he can have a turn.
The boot is old and cracked, creased right down at the ankle, and it has about two minutes left!
