The parchment goes up on the tavern board and every head turns at once. A grizzled fighter squints at the fine print, a young wizard is already scribbling notes on the back of her hand, and the rogue by the fire has spotted the reward purse before anyone has finished reading. Somebody's already ordering ale for the road.
This is the moment before the adventure starts — weapons still sheathed, boots still dry, nobody yet knowing what's waiting below. Ravensburger's officially licensed Dungeons & Dragons puzzle catches the party right as the quest is accepted, in the packed, torch-lit tavern scene the game itself is built on.
A busy tavern scene with multiple characters and props gives varied colour and detail, balanced by clear focal figures that aid sorting.
