Dog Thoughts - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle (Cobble Hill)

Every panel here is its own little scene: a corgi in a Christmas jumper stealing a football, a golden retriever guarding a basket of apples, a husky pulling a toy sledge through the snow. Dotted between the pictures are hand-lettered lines about dog ownership, the sort you'd nod along to if you've ever found dog hair on a clean jumper.

The random-cut pieces from Cobble Hill are all differently shaped, so there's no falling back on edges and straight lines to get you through it. With so many separate vignettes on soft pastel backgrounds, the sensible approach is to build each circle as its own mini puzzle before joining them up.

A good one for anyone who's owned a dog, or several, and knows exactly why the border collie gets the frisbee and the spaniel gets the mud.
