The Daylight comes round the headland in full cry, red and orange against the black, with smoke streaming back over the carriages and the sea flat and blue below. Poppies are out all over the cliff, gulls hang in the air ahead of her, and the rails run on into the green.
Stand in that field and you would feel her go past long before you heard her!
