Number 3751 comes straight at you out of the woods, headlamp burning, black smoke rolling up into a clear blue sky. The trees have turned gold behind her and the pines stand dark between them, and there are little purple flowers still out in the grass beside the track.
A birch leans in from the left with a fallen branch at its foot, and the whole forest seems to be holding its breath!
