Advent Calendar: Christmas Around the World

Twenty-four kraft-paper boxes numbered up to Christmas Eve, each printed with a ribbon and a country flag, each holding a 54-piece puzzle of Christmas somewhere else in the world: a ski lift under snow-laden firs, a gondola on a canal strung with lights, and more behind the rest of the doors. The lid gathers the landmarks around a decorated tree under a green aurora.

One small puzzle a day through December, a few minutes each and small enough for a kitchen table. Every box carries a picture of its finished design and a Christmas greeting printed inside the lid.
