Scrabble Junior

This Scrabble game is designed for kids ages 5-12, featuring a double-sided board. The first side is a crossword puzzle where words have already been spelled out to help with learning spelling. Players earn points by finishing words. The other side is an empty grid, and players can make up their own words and receive points for each letter they place. It was first created in 1958 by the Production & Marketing Company, and Selchow & Righter released a third edition in 1968. Localized Spear's Games editions from 1989-1995 have a different reverse board called "Rainbow Scrabble," attributed to David Parlett.
