Florette

Florette is the kind of flower shop you slow down for on the way past. Victoria Ball paints its pale pink front with the arched windows full of greenery: palms and ferns crowd the glass, a grey cat sits among the pots on the sill, and a golden dog in a garland of flowers keeps watch beside the little chalkboard sign out front. Geraniums, cacti and pots of blooms spill across a patchwork of coloured tiles, and a speckled bird has hopped in to see what is new today.

A cheerful square picture with something to find in every corner, and the box holds a full-size picture insert to work from. Finished size 51 x 51cm.
