Gate of Destinies

A young woman stands under a ruined stone arch at the edge of a wood, holding a raven against her chest as though the pair of them are waiting for something. Flowers are pinned in her hair, ivy and old roots have taken the archway back, and the light coming through the trees behind her is the colour of honey.

Water slips down over the mossy rocks at her feet. Wherever that gate leads, she looks entirely ready to go through it!
