A volcano throws black smoke into a red sky while a green tyrannosaurus opens its jaws beside a grey sauropod the size of a hill. A pterosaur glides in from the left, a stegosaurus with orange plates crosses the foreground, and a small armoured dinosaur trundles past the palms.
It is painted rather than drawn, so there are real tonal shifts to work with: the volcano and the red cloud go in early, the grey flanks last. XXL pieces suit hands that are still learning. Finished size 49 x 36cm.
100 oversized pieces and a scene built from big, clearly separated animals; only the grey sauropod flank asks for any patience.
