Steve Crisp's Cottage Interior brings the garden indoors — in the best possible way. Flowers cut from the garden fill vases on the windowsill, afternoon light streams through the panes, and you can almost smell the beeswax and fresh blooms. It's a cosy 1000-piece challenge with plenty of lovely botanical detail to keep you busy.

The My Haven No.13 – The Flower Arranger's Shed is the latest entry in Ravensburger's much-loved series, and it's a perfect April puzzle. Designed by artist Steve Read, The Flower Arranger's Shed celebrates a garden getaway where its owner can take time out to breathe in the scent of an array of stunning blooms as they arrange floral displays. Steve Read's style is characterised by strong composition, incredible attention to detail and superb use of colour. It's a wonderfully absorbing 1000-piecer with the kind of rich, flower-filled detail that rewards close attention.

Not every spring evening calls for a 1000-piece commitment.
