Echoes is a cooperative audio mystery game. Utilizing the free app, players listen to enigmatic sounds and voices linked to the game components. Together, they search for clues in the audio snippets to piece together the story and solve the case.
In more detail, your objective is to arrange the 24 story segments in the correct order. Each segment is represented by an object – either a game board or a card – and its corresponding echo. The entire story is divided into six chapters, with each chapter represented by a game board. By scanning the objects with the app, you'll hear the echo connected to each object, and by analyzing conversations and noises in the echo, you must determine which three object cards are associated with a chapter and the correct order in which they should be placed. If your arrangement is incorrect, the app will notify you which cards are misplaced or wrong; if you are correct, you can listen to the entire chapter at once – which is recommended, as new, additional hints can then be heard.
The objects themselves may also offer clues from time to time, so pay attention to every detail.
In Echoes: The Microchip, players must work together, combining their observational skills and logical thinking to decode the audio clues and piece together the story that reveals the secrets of a fallen civilization.
