Description

Gaia Project is a strategy board game that builds upon the foundation of its predecessor, Terra Mystica. In Gaia Project, players control one of fourteen distinct factions, each living on one of the seven different types of planets. To expand their reach and grow their faction, players must terraform neighboring planets into their home environments, competing with other factions for control of valuable resources and territory. Gaia planets can be colonized by any faction, while Transdimensional planets can be transformed into Gaia planets for further expansion opportunities.

Each faction has the ability to develop their skills in six key areas: Terraforming, Navigation, Artificial Intelligence, Gaiaforming, Economy, and Research. By improving these skills, players unlock advanced technology and special bonuses, enhancing their faction's abilities and potential for growth.

The game board consists of ten sectors, providing a variable setup that significantly increases replay value compared to the original Terra Mystica. In a two-player game, the playing area is reduced to seven sectors to maintain balance and competition.

Gaia Project offers a rich and immersive strategy gaming experience, with its unique factions, diverse planets, and numerous development paths, requiring careful planning and skillful execution to claim victory.
